When I first entered the workforce after earning my Master’s in Innovation & Entrepreneurship, I set out to "save the world." I joined a small union focused on social innovation, helping socially challenged individuals. I loved creating solutions centered around human needs, and it was during this time that I discovered web design. While the work was deeply fulfilling, it wasn’t financially sustainable, so I continued my journey in the digital sphere, taking a role as a digital marketing coordinator—mostly to keep designing websites.
Throughout my web design work, I unknowingly used UX methodologies, like card sorting (which I initially thought was my own brilliant invention). I enjoyed these elements, but once the website redesigns were done, I found the rest of the marketing work unfulfilling. That realization sparked my research into UX design, where I finally found my calling.
As a UX designer, my greatest strength lies in product conceptualization. My background in innovation and entrepreneurship naturally drives me to think about the big picture and long-term goals. At the same time, my previous experience gives me a broad perspective on user experience. I don’t just focus on the product—I care about the complete journey users embark on, from their first interaction to how the product impacts their lives as a whole.
My core motivation is creating solutions that align with the world’s needs and challenges. I strive to design work that is sustainable, inclusive, and impactful. As our climate crisis worsens and younger generations demand accountability from businesses, there’s no time to waste.
Whenever I have taken personality tests, they emphasize these same traits. See for yourself on my plum profile.
